I have to tell you, I’m a bit fed up with this Commission Blueprint 2.0 business. I was doing quite well for myself with about a dozen small niche websites and blogs. Not getting rich overnight, but they paid my bills, and I’ve stumbled upon a couple of good affiliate marketing programs, which paid quite well.
But of course, I got cocky, and I thought I could try my hand at something more competitive and more dangerous. So I’m now playing with the big boys, and I’m getting trashed.
My new site is so low in search engine results, even I can’t find it. My usual SEO techniques didn’t yield any results, so I started a more aggressive marketing campaign. It took a couple of months to see some small improvement – a bit more traffic, but coming only from the ads, and still no sales, and no higher rankings with the search engines. If I don’t see any good trends in the next six-seven weeks, I’ll probably have to say goodbye to this initiative and go back to what I do best.
