Flavio Cannalonga    29/12/1953 - 26/02/2007

Born in Sao Paulo in 1953 and Photographer since 1977, he worked for several newspapers in Brazil. In 1992 became an independent photographer, involved in social documentary with a humanistic approach, connected with the Brazil’s Landless Workers’ Movement - MST, Greenpeace.org, Survival International.org and Tribal People in Latin America.

Cannalonga’s works include coverage of Guarani, Chapare, Chipaya, Deni, Macuxi and Yanomani People.

Co-founder and member of the Arcapress, Flavio Cannalonga died at the age of 53, after a battle with cancer.
